TERMS & CONDITIONS

General

These booking conditions set out the basis upon which the Room Bookings are accepted for clients (“You”) by Flore House Ltd (“Us”, “We”, “Our”).

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

Upon Booking with Flore House Ltd You are deemed to have read in full and accepted the following Terms and Conditions:

Bookings

To reserve Your Room please follow the instructions on the Website or Online Travel Agency (“OTA”).

You must be at least 18 years old to make a Booking.

You will need to provide Your credit or debit card details to secure Your Booking. 

Please check that the details of Your Booking are complete and accurate before You confirm Your Booking.  We will not be liable for any delay or non-performance if You provide Us with incorrect information.

If You think there is an error in Your Booking or if You require any changes to a confirmed Booking, please contact Us to discuss.

Prices

Flore House Ltd adopts dynamic pricing and the price of Our Rooms fluctuates based on demand.  When You make a Booking request, We will give You a total price for the Rooms and number of nights You have requested.  The price You pay is the price quoted to You at the time You make Your Booking.

Room prices are per Room, per night based on single or double occupancy. 

Flore House Ltd is not registered for VAT and therefore prices do not include VAT.

Refundable: If You book a Refundable rate You will pay in full on the day of arrival.  You will be able to amend or cancel Your Booking up to 48hrs preceding the day of arrival without charge.

Non-Refundable: A Non-Refundable rate is a discounted rate that may be available.  Payment in full is required for all Non-Refundable Bookings at the time of booking.  Because Non-Refundable Rooms are made available at a discounted rate, these Rooms cannot be amended or refunded.

Payment Procedure

If You have not paid for Your Room in full at the time You make Your Booking, the full balance will be deducted from the credit card used to secure Your Booking on the day of arrival.

Facilities and Services

All Rooms are fully furnished to a high standard and include a kitchenette equipped with appliances, cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils appropriate to the appliances in the kitchenette.

Breakfast

A Welcome Pack breakfast is provided on arrival (details on Our Website) but all further supplies should be provided by You.

Wifi

A wireless broadband internet connection (WiFi) is provided on site.  There is no charge for normal use, as described in Our Fair Usage Policy of this facility.  If a loss of connection occurs, We will endeavour to get reconnected as quickly as possible but We cannot be held liable for any losses resulting from the loss of connection.  We cannot guarantee or be held responsible for the speed at any given time.

Fair Usage Policy

Fair broadband usage is described as an average of 2GB download per day.  This is sufficient for all normal activities, eg Web browsing and emailing, but may be exceeded if there is significant amount of activities such as video streaming.

Parking

Each Room has one complimentary free parking space.  Cars and their contents are left at the owner’s/customer’s own risk.  We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage.

Housekeeping Service

Unless otherwise specified, a regular Housekeeping Service is carried out on stays of two nights or more.  This service includes cleaning the Room.  Bed linen and towels will only be refreshed on request.

It is not the responsibility of the Housekeeping staff to clean dishes and tidy clothes in the Room. Surcharge note

Cancellation Policy

The cancellation policy varies according to the rate that is booked.

For standard rate Rooms these are cancellable without charge up to 48hrs preceding the day of arrival without charge. Cancellation and non-arrival charges apply after the relevant time and will be charged to the credit/debit card supplied at the time of Booking.

For rates marked as “Non-Refundable” – We require full prepayment for the entire stay at the time of the Booking and this is non-refundable and the Booking non-changeable.  Prepayment is charged to the credit/debit card supplied at the time of the Booking. Cancellation or non-arrival will result in the forfeiture of the prepayment.

Alteration by You

If You wish to alter Your Booking (e.g. change the dates of Your stay or the Room requested), We will use all Our reasonable efforts to comply with Your request, however We cannot guarantee that We will be able to do so and We accept no liability for any loss, damage or additional expense that may be incurred in that circumstance. 

Changes or Cancellation by the Company

Very occasionally We may need to cancel Your Booking.  In such circumstances You will be given a full refund but We shall have no further liability to You arising out of such cancellation.  We will, however, use reasonable endeavours to try and relocate any confirmed Booking cancelled by Us to an alternative location similar in standard to Flore House Ltd.

If We need to move You to a different Room, for operational or safety reasons, during Your Booking for which a lower rate is available than the rate You booked at, We will refund You the difference in the rates.

Termination by Us

We have the right to terminate a Booking at any time on the grounds of abuse to staff or other guests, mistreatment of the Room or criminal activity on the part of those occupying the Room or their guests.

Damage to Room

You are responsible for taking all reasonable care of the Room and its contents.  The Room and all equipment, utensils, furniture etc, must be left clean and tidy at the end of the hire period.  Except in the case of normal Wear and tear You will be responsible for making good any damage to the Room or its contents, which has occurred due to negligence, willful damage or irresponsible behaviour on the part of those occupying the Room or their guests.  Such damage must be reported to Flore House Ltd without delay.  The cost of the repair or replacement must be agreed with, and paid to, Us.

Rights of Access

Our representatives and subcontractors have the right of access to the Room at any time, with due regard to the convenience of You, for the purpose of inspection of the Room and to carry out any essential repair or maintenance work.

​

No Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in the Rooms or communal areas of the site.  Smoking is permitted in the garden only.  A surcharge of £150 will be made if evidence of smoking is discovered in the Room.

​

Children

Flore House Ltd does not accept children (a person under 16 years of age) to stay on site.

​

Pets

No pets are allowed on site.

​

Force Majeure

Flore House Ltd accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse Weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures.

Injury or Loss

We cannot be held responsible for any personal injury, loss or damage to personal effects howsoever arising at the Room. 

​

Litigation

In the event of any litigation arising from the Booking of a Room with Us, the Courts in England shall have sole jurisdiction on such arising matters and English law prevalent at the time shall be applied at the time.

​

Data

Any data gathered during the course of this Booking may be held digitally or on paper in accordance with GDPR.
